'The first slow cookers, designed primarily as a device for cooking baked bean, were introducted over 25 years ago as The Rival Company's Crock Pot Stoneware Slow Cooker. Since then, millions of people across America have discovered the amazing versatility of this appliance. And slow cookers continue to be one of today's most popular household appliances.'
