Cheese Dip

1 lb. processed American Cheese, cubed
8 oz. cream cheese, cubed
1 med onion, diced
1 can tomatoes with green chiles
1 (4oz) can diced green chiles
1 lb. ground beef, cooked and drained

Combine all of the ingredients in the crock pot; mix well. Cook on Low until the cheese melts. Serve with corn chips. Serves 12
Why Slow Cook?

Another great reason to use a slow cooker is for economical reasons. Basically the slow cooker works by simmering food at a constant, low temperature which enhances the flavor and texture of some ingredients. Slow cooking tenderizes less expensive cuts of meat such as beef brisket, stewing beef and portk, pork shoulder roasts and chops. The lengthy cooking time tenderizes these tougher cuts of meat and allows the flavors to blend resulting in delicious meals.
