Crock Pot French Onion Soup

1/4    c butter or margarine
3       yellow onions, sliced
1       c white wine
3cans (14 oz) beef broth
1tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2    tsp salt
1/2    tsp dried thyme
1c Swiss cheese
1loaf sliced/toasted French bread

Melt butter in skillet.  Cook onions & stir until llightly brown. Stir in wine.  Combine onion mixture, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, salt & thyme in Crock Pot. Cook on Low 4 hours. Serve soup into 4 bowls; top with bread & cheese. Serves 4.
