Saucy Mushroom Crock Pot Roast
1 - 2 1/2 lb beef roast
salt and pepper to taste
garlic powder to taste
1/2 c ketchup
1/2 c soy sauce
1 tsp dried thyme
1 c chopped onion
12 oz mushrooms, sliced and sauted
Season roast with salt, pepper and garlic powder and place in crock pot. Mix ketchup and soy sauce in a bowl, stir in the thyme. Pour over roast and top with onions. Cook on high for 4 hours or low for 8 hours. When done, stir in the mushrooms and serve with roast.
