Crock Pot ORANGE GLAZED CARROTS
3 cups thinly sliced carrots
3 tbl butter or margarine
2 cups water
3 tbl orange marmalade
1/4 tsp salt
2 tbl chopped pecans
Combine carrots, water, and salt in crock-pot. Cover and cook on high 2 to 3 hours or until the carrots are done. Drain well; stir in remaining ingredients. Cover and cook on high 20-30 minutes. Makes 5 to 6 servings
Crock Pot Cooking Tip
To speed up cooking time, place aluminum foil under the crock pot lid. The foil reflects the heat back onto the food and keeps the heat in the crock pot.
When your recipe calls for vegetables, be sure to cut them into bite-size pieces for better cooking, vegetables can take longer to cook than meat in Crockpots.
